If you want to remove the marker you might want to try a mr. clean sponge to get the marker off....I used it to get it off a kitchen counter top worked well. It didn't scratch the counter top, but not sure what it will do to the plastic...

I bought a binding ruler that is 2 1/2' wide (or you can get one I think 2 1/4 and 3) and it has the angel on one end of it already. I bought mine at Joanns with a 50% of coupon. I paid $6.00 for it. I love it..so easy to also make jelly rolls with now.

I line up the strips as you have shown, but instead of pinning I just fold where the stitching line should be and finger press...then sew.....

Great idea. Almost all of my borders are mitered at the corners. This will make the process much more accurate and quicker.
