Here are a few more pictures of easy mitered borders and the effect of stripes.

The red and striped borders were added together.

Two examples of using stripes by direction.

I've lost one side of this example.:) Bias stripes will not match but will have a neat effect.

Very uneven stripes still match perfectly if fussy cut to match.

Just trying stripes without a definite line between colors.

Not quilted so hangs funny. Rectangle with two borders mitered at once.

Nice effect. Really like the narrow stripes on the bottom one.

Just wondering what you did that made these easier. Do you have a trick that we need to have? If so, could you post a tutorial? Oops, just realized you already did. Thanks for the info.

The bias stripe has the attic window effect. Very interesting
