Wow, I'm inspired by that photo!! Love those colors, your block is gorgeous and so sweet of you! Didn't know of your surgery, but I sure am glad to hear you have bounced back!!! My mind is reeling onto some wonderful shapes to those colors....hmmm, no telling what I would come up with!! hahaha! Welcome back home, Jan!!

I usually stay away from a combination of primary colors but it absolutely LOVE your design...it's very pretty and I hope to make it.....

Here are two of three blocks I have made and have finally gotten photoed for you all. In both the colors are inspired by the original picture posted on the first page, but you will notice that only one block is colored almost exactly like the drawn block pattern. I will have 12 blocks eventually and each will follow the inspiration of the picture, but not all will feature the orange, as there are other colors in that picture as well!

The corners are actually a Jinny Beyer dark teal rather than black in the first block.
The 'sashing' is a teal in the second block.

the colors are so refreshing! I will give this a try (The directions are certainly self explanitory) Now to find those colors... I absolutly love the picture of the ladies....THANK YOU for sharing.... Take care of you and get back to your old self... Prayers..

Leatheflea, those colors sing, sing, sing!! BTW, my favorite quilt from my great grandmother is bright orange, dark blue and white!! So yours will become someone's favorite, trust me! :-)
