I'm glad I looked at this since I'm new to quilting and want to attempt to make a baby quilt with an applique in the center. Now I'm thinking this is probably going to be much harder than I anticipated. Do you use this method if you use fusible web? My instructions tell me to use that.

asheryl, No Fusable would be a different method. Follow your instructions.

I too have switched over from pieced designs to applique designs. Thank you for this tutorial. I will post a picture of my Ganesha blocks when I finish them.

Thanks so much for posting this. First time I've seen it done exactly like this, and I think I can manage using your example. At 76 I do MANY things but a master of none. Got a book for sale on amazon and another on the way. Wish there were more hours in the day to do everything I want. Alas, that isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Thank you again for posting this. I pinned it to the computer desktop and will look for a simple pattern to work it with.

Keep up the good work. Know you helped a lot of people doing this. I appreciate it.

sorry but link is no good. I gave it up as it got too expensive and had to put the money toward being able to mail out dolls to the VERY SICK KIDS with cancer, etc.
