wow i love this pattern i have to add this to my do list, thank you for the tutorial and never would i have thought of useing old phone books for this , a great ideal

You know, where I live is such a small community that our phone books are very small. Too small to use for this project. Boo hoo. This looks like an awesome way to string quilt. And it's not wasteful, like I would have to use foundation paper or copy paper. Crap on a stick. Maybe there is a way I can find an old "big" telephone book at a second hand store or something? Our's are about one third the size of a regular phone book and very thin. Very thin. Small small community. Wonder if I'm in a big city if I could get a hold of one of their phone books, one of their old ones? Any ideas?
