    1. After opening, you will see a tip box. You can keep reading tips there, or you can hit CLOSE.

    2. You will see a Project box. You can type in a name for the quilt project you will be making, look for a quilt you have previously made, or get a quick quilt project.

    4. Go the the Library dialog box, and click Block Library. Scroll down the list until you find a category that you would like to look at. Click a block and it will become outlined in blue. After it is outlined, click the Add to Sketchbook button. (The scroll button goes from left to right.) You can add as many blocks as you would like. I like to put several in at once, and when I am done, I can look at the selected blocks more critically before I make my final selection.

    13. The block and fabrics can be saved as often as you change them. Do you remember the View Sketchbook button you clicked earlier? (See step #9) The View Sketchbook button is the right red book on the top bar. The Add to Sketchbook button is the book on the left. With your block on the Work Table, click the Add to Sketchbook button. If you want to see where you saved it, click the View Sketchbook button.14. In my Sketch Book, I have selected the Shoo Fly block again. It shows that I have 3 colorings of the block in the book. If you would like to see the three, click on the tiny arrows to the left and bottom of the blocks that are shown. If you do this on your block, you will be able to see all of the colorings you have made, the coloring that EQ chose, a grey-scale block, and a line-drawing of the block without any coloring.
