Enci--

These blocks are just beautiful! Iris are my favorite flowers, as you can tell from my screen name. I just have a couple of questions for you:

Do you have measurements for the size of your beginning squares?
Can you tell us how far your cuts are from the corners of your stacked squares?
Do you use a bias strip of fabric for your stem and leaf pieces?
Are the leaf pieces made essentially like the stems?

Thanks for showing us a new way to make a beautiful block!

[One of quarter block made from 3+1 pieces 12X12 cm square-fabric. The four sorted element-blocks are parts of the iris-block(cca.15X15cm!). To start of the leaves sewing are also higher-longer raw material needed! The supplement-pieces can be read on the plan/QUOTE]
