I made one of these about 30 yrs. ago for DS. They work great, as long as you can get them to keep the legos on the mat.
    Good job.

That's a lot more work that what I made for my kids. I took a good sized piece of canvas, put handles on two opposite sides. Then between the handles I put a loop on one side and a big gaudy button on the other. Then I hemmed the cut edges. To use, lay it all on the floor and play. To pick up, fold each of the hemmed sides to the far handle side, then pick up by the handles and button. (more simply, fold it in thirds) Hang on hook, Legos off the floor so bare feet don't go ouch in the night.

Love this idea. It would be great for all kinds of small toy projects, so easy to pick up and put away 'til another day. Thank you.

I made something similar to this for our grandson. He uses it for his matchbox cars, which I included as part of his Christmas gift. The outside is denim. I cut winding strips of colorful fabrics to simulate "roads" on the inside of bag. It was a big hit with him.
