    Blocks are 8" x 8"
    1 1/2 yds total off white fabrics for logs
    1 3/4 yds total dark fabric for logs
    1 yd dark fabric for centers and binding

    dark fabrics:
    strips are 1 1/2" wide, sub-cut
    36 1 1/2" x 2 1/2"
    36 1 1/2" x 3 1/2"
    36 1 1/2" x 4 1/2
    36 1 1/2" x 5 1/2"
    36 1 1/2" x 6 1/2"
    36 1 1/2" x 7 1/2"
    36 2 1/2" squares

    off white fabrics:
    36 1 1/2" x 3 1/2"
    36 1 1/2" x 4 1/2"
    36 1 1/2" x 5 1/2"
    36 1 1/2" x 6 1/2"
    36 1 1/2" x 7 1/2"
    36 1 1/2" x 8 1/2"

    press after every seam

    sew the strip to one side of the square
