Thank you. I meant to post it here when I finished, as I had posted it in progress, and then I had a Cocker Spaniel moment, and something else got my attention, and I forgot to post it here.
If I can do this from Eddie's tute........anyone can, and it is not hard doing it on the machine.

Thanks for your tutorial...I hand quilt but I want to try. Can you tell us the name of batiks you are using, especially the greens, reds...thnx

You're welcome! I'm not sure of the names of the fabrics. I remember that I got all of those at the LQS by just pulling out fat quarters of the ones I liked.

If you look back at pic 21, you can see that there are 4 pointed flaps on each block that converge in the center of each block. The tips of these flaps are tacked down with a few stitches to keep them in place while top-stitching the roll of fabric down over the "glass" fabric.

Very good job on the tutorial. This is very different from the way I have been machine stitching the same block. Thanks for doing this.
