Thank you so very much! I've made a small quilt the old way and was wishing I could make a full size but knew I didn't have the endurance for it. I think it could do this. I love your batiks! Thank you again for showing us how.

sumcoop, youare not dense because it got me too. When you sew your triangles they are on point so you put your contrast material in the middle of the triangle then the pieces just fold over nicely. Look at the first pic again on page 1.

I keep going back to this and it is terrific. Is it possible to get a pdf downloadable version or what would you suggest for printing off the steps?? Love your work

I'm sure if you google Cathedral Window , you will get a downloadable instruction there. I know I did a while back.

What a great tutorial!  It still looks like a lot of work. The results are beautiful though.

At the risk of sounding really stupid is it actually the four triangles that you fold and sew round the "glass". Sorry for my silly question but other than that I think this is a wonderful tut and definately will try it. I have a lot of animal and bird 31/2" squares which I would like to put in place of "glass" do you think they would look OK and what size would my first square need to be to suit these. Many thanks.

I think it would be lovely to put the birds/animals in the 'windows'. As to size of the original block to form the frame, I am afraid I am no help this morning.
