There is a PDF file on page 8. I have been making these since they were posted and have never had any problems. I use cotton fabric, cotton thread and Wrap N Zap 100% natural cotton batting. I also use them when I have a bowl of ice cream. Now my sister made many baked potato zappers which was advertised on the back of the batting package and they did catch on fire. Go figure!

I have made many of them and gave for gifts. Including some for our house and never had a problem with them. I do use the Wrap N Zap only. Thread and bobbin thread both need to be 100% cotton.

OMGsh ! It's the first I see of this thread....and such a good tutorial. Thank you so much for doing this. I have been planning on making some of these for NEXT CHRISTMAS! Just need to get some of the 100% natural cotton batting.

.....also, a big "thank you" to the person who did the PDF.

I have seen the microwave (bowl) hottie before, but did not think I wanted to make any until I found one made with bees on the fabric. The light went on as all our friends referred to our place as our "Wanna-be farm". I found fabric with bees and have made several as a play on words and given to my friends. They love them.

Love making these, have made quite a few as gifts .... one 'branch' of my family loves to use them as ice-cream bowls to protect their hands from the 'freeze' ...
