I absolutely LOVE your block. I'm pretty new at quilting - only been at it a little over 6 months and I have gotten addicted to this forum. I want to be able to do all that you ladies can do - but I want to be able to do it NOW - LOL!

I am so reluctant to start new projects and I think it's the fear that I can't do it plus the fact that I REALLY have trouble putting colors together.

I took the plunge and decided to get a few scraps out but as a beginner the pickings are slim, no stash ;) no scraps, but I just used a piece of white to make two 5" squares and had two different shades of pink and white and just put those together. I know it would have been better with two different solids and 2 contrasting prints but I just wanted to see if I could do it. WaLa - I DID IT. Don't know if I'd ever be able to make a very big project but maybe a table runner or lap quilt. I bought a pack of charm squares tonight and I decided to order a few more packs on line and use some of them.

Thanks to each and everyone of you for all the help I have gotten here online.

Pat

They are 2 different pinks - needed more contrast.

One done - one more to go. Maybe a couple more for a table runner.
