I agree, I can stipple no problem, but feathers are not so easy for me. You got any tips on mastering feathers? By the way, your quilt turned out great!

Thank you for the tip. I have been wanting to try this but just couldn't grasp how to start.

OMG!! I have wanted to meander forever but have been so afraid to try. I also watch Leah and have saved her videos but not done it. I will definitely be doing this today and practicing. I have several Christmas table runners to quilt so this is perfect. Thank you, thank you.

Great idea. Since I've been practicing on paper it has helped train the brain while practicing on my mini sandwiches so your idea I just tried and it reinforced the fact that I am very comfortable with the stippling. I felt like a pro when I snaked out your idea. Now I need to prove it on the real thing, my quilt top. Thanks for the idea.

I echo Pinkiris! BRILLIANT!!! I follow Leah Day and am presently taking her Free Motion Quilting a Sampler from Craftsy. I have bought one of her books (365 FMQ Designs) and one of her DVDs From Daisy to Paisley. She is an excellent teacher, however you have helped me wrap my brain around stippling/meandering so now maybe I won't get stuck in a corner! Thanks! Linda

What a great idea! You wouldn't have a tutorial on feathers too, would you? I am beginning to think I'm feather challenged!
