Our quilting group used warm and natural batting and it added just the right amt. of low loft and they are lovely with the batting, but just as you did - batting is not a requirement by any means.

no batting.

I do like your sizes better as I think the wider border is more attractive. Will post my Christmas runners when they are finished and I am going to use your sizes and warm and natural batting as I like the way they look with that type of batting. thanks.
