The quilt block is 10 1/2 inches square. The leaf pattern is fused onto the block then stitched around the outer edge. If you have questions I'll try to answer them. I hope the tutorial is understandable. Happy flower making! ps My friend was using this technique with much smaller squares and putting a magnet on the back. Hers looked like sunflowers. I don't remember how she covered the center. |

I think when I get to making one I would leave the center edges undone and I would turn it upside down and hand applique it to the flowers and hand applique the flower to the block also.Thanks for the tute.

That is one of the joys of quilting--we can get ideas from each other and then develop them to suit our own tastes. Isn't it great? |
