I'll take your stash any day, congratulations on having so many beautiful fabrics at your disposal.

I also have no clue wha to do with my smaller "scraps" My husband always says throw it out    My response is ALWAYS the same. Are you kidding me I can not toss fabric!

Don't worry, it took me quite a bit of time to fold mine as well. Now I have a hard time taking any fabric out and using it. I don't want to mess it up!

wow, great job it sure looks good and has to be more hassel free! Thanks for sharing this it is good to get new ideas for organizing stash. I am retired now and have moved to a smaller home. I once had a room just for crafts, quilting, sewing, etc. I now have to be more choosie as to what is important to have on hand because of room! Your room has given me some good ideas as to how to compact and orginize what I now have. Thanks again!

luvTooQuilt,
I went to Lowes and also searched online at Lowes and I can't seem to find the shoe organizers, is there an item# or name they use. Would love to get them for my organization project. Thanks.

I have looked too plus can't find the polacast stuff too so I have been using cardboard for the wraping and my own shelves

Hi to everyone new... The white plastic is Coroplast (corigated plastic) The kind used in sign making. A sign shop in your area should have it. I was going to sell it but did not have the interest on this board to purchase. Also if you look in Craig's list that is where I bought my entertainment center. It is perfect and holds my Featherweights nicely and the shelves are adjustable. I also bought hutches and a set of large book shelves. Use your imagination. The wall you see in my fabric folding demo. is from a closet that my husband removed and screwed to the wall in my quilt room. Hopefully this helps.
have fun folding!

My goodness, you are tidy! I've been wrapping my fabric for a while, but had shoulder surgery this summer and can't quite reach lots of places to put the stuff back! So it stacks up.....in neat little piles but it does stack up. Looks like you are another serious Alaskan quilter! blessings
