FREE magnetic pincushion
2 Attachment(s)
I discovered while at a quilt retreat at my sister's house that I love magnetic pin cushions. I like the fact that you can just lat the pins down and don't have to 'stick' in. One work of caution...don't keep one close to a computerized machine! It might not hurt it but why take the chance? Anyway...I wanted a magnetic pincushion, but I did not want to go shopping. So I fashioned one from things I had around the house. I liked it so much, I made another one to keep on my cutting table. And since I was making another one I decided to share the process with QB today! It only took about half an hour to make it!

I can't believe how many typos I let get thru...must be because I'm anxious to get sewing!!!

Oh that is a great idea! I have one of those newer can openers that cut around the side edge instead of on the top and the lid fits back on perfectly, so I wouldn't have to find another lid to fit over the can, yay. I'm definitely going to make one+ of these ... now to find some magnets, LOL
