I LOVE it! Good directions, too. Would you object if I made it to sell at our church craft sale?
Thanks for sharing the tute. Your "cake" is absolutely beautiful. I'd love to see pictures of what some of our members make now. Anyone up for the challenge?
Thanks so much for sharing the instructions. This is the most beautiful pincushion ever.

Thank you for sharing the tute! You are very generous.
that is so pretty.
Wow, you did a great job with your pdf file. Thanks. I love the dish you used for your cake stand.
Thank you for the wonderful comments everyone! To answer some of your posts:
They all will be beautiful! this is an easy and fun project!
If anyone makes one, please either post it here or post it on your own thread and send us the link!
Thanks Linda! I was very nervous about making the directions.
Finding the dish was half the fun... we got it at an old antique barn. Been back there three times to find another to no avail.
I just checked out eBay and came up with some neat finds under $10 for mini-cake dishes. The pedestal kind tend to run more than $10. They tend to be listed as glass compote, bon bon, candy or even candle dishes. Saucers tend to cost less and would not tip over easily.
I'll post the links in case any strike someone's fancy. Since the number exceeds the limit for images, i will need to do it in two posts.
