Terrific tuturial - Thank you. Beautiful jackets everyone (that Day of the Dead fabric is brilliant - think I'll have to get some).

I have been collecting pinwheels. All sizes - all colors. My intention was always to put them into a jacket of some sort, but now I have the inspiration to DO it. We have a challenge due in May, so now I have an idea and a deadline. Sounds like something might get done. Thanks, UGLY COOK for the wonderful tut.

I absolutely love the brown jacket. Your tut is great fodder for my longarm!

Thank you for the tutorial. Great job! I love all the beautiful jackets everyone else has posted too. The one trimmed with 'pony fur' is fantastic. It gave me a few ideas 'outside of the box'. A camo done with more free form shapes instead of angular cuts is one.
Also someone mentioned putting in a zipper instead of using binding. I think it might work using a hooded zipped sweatshirt. Then just cut off the hood and put binding around the neck |
