hmmmm, can a rug be made like this? a small one , a throw rug?
oh and another thing, about the sewing, do you do a small amount then sew the x's? is that hard to sew on the sewing machine? looks thrifty, frugal , excess scraps used etc, does look good, the bowls, that is. Mary |
Yes, I've seen small rugs made like this as well. I made placemats for our breakfast area table, too. I only sew the X once, at the very beginning of the spiral to hold it in place. Then you start at the beginning of the center doing the zigzag.
