I hope you can all understand this.
It's better with a "hands on", but I think you should be able to do it.

Take 2 pieces of coordinating fabric 6" x 6". Iron on interfacing to give it some stamina. (can't think of another word to use.) It looks like iron on interfacing that is/was used with the package I bought.

draw a 3/8 inch line around the wrong side with an area left for turning.
Sew on the line, making sure to leave the opening.

Trim your corners so your points will look good.

Turn right side out and sew the opening closed.

Here comes the tricky/fun part.
Hold the piece you made with points up and down and one facing you and one away from you and pull each side from the middle.

As you pull, start to tuck the top point down inside

Keep tucking until it is 1/2 way down and it is even. You can see where I creased it to show you.

I put a pin to hold it to the one side on the inside.

Then fold the other point up (the one that is down). That folds to the opposite side of the inside point and pin that.

Stitch around the outside to hold it.

Do the same for the one for the inside. To make it easier to sew, flip it inside out. Meaning, just take your "boat" and push the bottom up, so the sewn part is now inside.

You should now have your boat!
Add the little tassle. I had a bit of a problem trying to figure out how she did this, but I just took a piece of floss, put it thru the corner (tip) of the boat, doubled the thread and tied it.
