Thanks for this. I have an ancient recliner that my parents bought new in 1947. It is so old it doesn't even have a handle to go back, you just lean heavily on the back, and back you go. My husband and I had it recovered in 1980, and now it needs it again, plus we have one which we got off Craigs list. Very comfortable, but someone tried to vacuum it, and got 2 or 3 small holes (fingernail size) in the seat, so this will cover that nicely. Thanks loads.

Thanks for the information. I am so tired of throwing a blanket on the recliner.

Thank you for this tutorial. I recently got a new lift chair and the color is lighter than I really wanted. This should work well to keep it clean but I'm thinking of trying your idea but with polar fleece. I am unable to handle quilting large pieces like the back and seat piece but thik your measurements will help me get a good fit.

Recliner slipcover

Thank you so much for the detailed instructions. I can now cover my husband's old recliner. He loves that old chair and refuses to part with it.
