I just wanted to say THANK YOU for your time in doing these lessons. I was having a hard time with EQ and now with these classes, I just might have a shot at mastering it!

Rhonda, I too would like to express my thanks for the time and effort you give us each week. It is greatly appreciated. A big Aussie thank you.

If you have any problems just let me know. If I don't know I will research it or ask for a more experienced EQ user for their input and advice.

I'm glad the lessons are helping.

Thank you for these lessons. Have to reload my EQ7. As soon as I get a new printer will start on the lessons. I want to make a baseball theme quilt for my middle grandson. He lives and eats the game, so will have to make one up with EQ.

Rhonda, I can't begin to tell you what these lessons have meant to me. Trying to understand the manual can be quite confusing to a newbie. Thank you so much!!

You're welcome. I am glad if they help.

Rhonda, you have been doing an outstanding job of explaining these lessons. I don't have a scanner hooked up yet and maybe after the garden is in, I can play around with these lessons in the evenings. Your lessons are so much easier to follow than the instruction manual, by all means. I need to create a graduation quilt ASAP and am sure with your instructions, I can accomplish it. Thank you so-o-o much.

I'm just getting into quilting and have just seen the tutorials you are doing. The first one I'm seeing is Lesson 21. Is there a way to see the first 20?

Rhonda, in the custom setting (I haven't yet checked) I presume it gives a large overestimate of fabrics needed then? And the actual cutting etc. of filler blocks would all need to be calculated manually in the EQ5, right? How about in EQ 6 and EQ 7?

Thanks Rhonda! Your time in putting these lessons together for us is truly invaluable! They make it much easier to go through EQ7 and learn what it really is we want to know and do when we want to know and do it.

There are 3 places you can find them. In Tutorials or in the Topics List or in my Blog where I listed all the threads.

All the classes are listed in the Topics List under Electric Quilt
here is the link
http://www.quiltingboard.com/tags/electric+quilt.html

And in my Blog -

I don't know but I can check it out. I would assume tho that it would not be an overestimate. But as I don't do large quilts I don't really know. I don't have anything to compare with. EQ5 figures the yardage the same way EQ7 does.
