Thanks calla! That is super cute! Like I need anything else to do. LOL!! You know I will be making these!
Cute!!
They had these at our LQS last year ... here and there around the shop for fall decorations.
To plump out the pumpkin a little, cover the toilet paper with some poly batting first, then put on the FQ. Strange enough the FQ sales rose during that time for all the appropriate fall colours, as all the quilters just had to have a pumpkin of their own. |
so clever. thanks for sharing
cute to use for fall.
Aren't you just the most crafty person. Thanks for sharing, I like the idea.

Clever

I made a bunch of these a couple of years ago. Everyone thought it was a cute idea. Fun easy project.
Hi, Did you ever post how your sales went on the pillow cases? If so, I missed it. How did it go>
Sorry, the above post was for cjomomma.
What a cute idea for storing the few extra rolls in the bathroom --- turn them into decorations! :D Hmmmm.... now need an idea to do something like that for Christmas.
Twist up a paper sack and stick it in for the stem. Also, add some leaves and stick them in before you put in the stem.

Now here's one that will never go gray and squishy on you.
Cool! I can see a whole collection of various pumpkin orange colors sitting on my counter. Thanks!
talk about EASY!!!! great quickie!
I made a bunch of those a few years ago. I did the stem a little different. I took a piece of brown bag (5 inches long), rolled it into a tight roll and then doubled it. Then you wind twine around it (glueing as you go). When it dries, stick it into the hole (put a little glue around edge to make it stick). I put them around the house in the fall.
Lynn  |
I was at a meeting last spring and they had used floral prints and felt leaves. Cute.
For the stem, I usually take olive green felt and cut it into 3" strips and roll it up and stick it in the top with some silk leaves.
I would add some fiberfill to make it more round, but that is a great idea. Thanks for sharing.

Very cute and I love that fabric. Thanks for the post.
I think I would use some stick cinnamon for the stick and it would emit a lovely fall fragrance (especially pleasant in the bath and kitchen). Thanks for this wonderful idea. You have my creative juices running and I'm thinking about Christmas...a snow man???
That is so cute! I like the cinnamon stick idea too.
will probably do this for daughters classroom. second grade.
I also think the cinnamon stick would be good & store bought leaves for autumn that you get at the dollar store.
