Tutorial Curves inward

Hello everyone!
Continuing with my perfect circles Tutorial which you can find in this thread http://www.quiltingboard.com/tutorials-f10/tutorial-perfect-circles-t178115-3.html, in which the curves are out.
I should do a block with curves inward. I got and shared it with a friend from this forum, Kitsie, who encouraged me to publish the step by step, because it considers that it will be useful for other people.
All know that I use a translator to communicate, by what you ask apologize in advance for my write errors.
I have 11 photos to upload, so ask you to be patient as achievement that all are complete in the thread!

We make a template with the original form of its original size without margin. I use a recycled medical x-ray. You can use acetates, materials for templates that are sold, or a sturdy cardboard.

With a brush we dampen seam with starch. And with the help of a mini iron we turn it on the template.

Gladys, thanks so much for the wonderful tut

Thank you Gladys for posting this tutorial for us. Seeing how things are done in pictures makes all the difference to me! I just saw that brown fabric (or something very similar) at Joann's yesterday, and I love it with the turquoise. What a striking combination! Will this be a quilt top, or did you just put this together to show us?

sew_Tracy 09-20-2012 02:09 PM

Gladys, this was a great tutorial! Interesting use of xray film. How hot was the iron? Need to grab up all the used film around since the world is going digital and there will be no "films" around. Thanks for sharing your tutorials.

Thank you! I use the Mini iron of Clover for these works with starch and x-rays. You could use your large low heat with no steam iron, but I don't know if it will give the same result, because you should care yours fingers.A hug!
