For a finished 10" block, I am playing around with strips just under 2" each. I'm still playing with this and tend to overthink the process. I'm giving up tonight and will look at it again tomorrow or the next day, depending upon my schedule.

Just graphed this.....2 inch strips will give you a 12 inch finished square.

Great Tutorial. I like the pattern, your pictures tell us what to do. I also appreciate your sample blocks and how the different values of fabric determine what will show up. Thanks so much.
