:thumbup: for showing us this tip. Just to stitch a couple of 2 blocks together between your project will definitely get your pile done quicker. I have just finished a project with a wide variety of colours and this i did not do, but will remember the next time. :-P

Leaders and enders are just like she shows in the picture, when you are chain stitching you use one as your "leader" then start your chain stitching of the blocks/pieces you are working on and then at the end use your "ender". It helps to not waste thread and for me it seems to help feed the fabric thru more smoothly.
