I'm hosting a self portrait mug rug swap. The finish size should be the size of a sheet of paper 8 1/2" x 11".

I have started out with a white tone on tone pattern 100% cotton. I have pressed freezer paper to the back of the fabric to stabilize it enought to draw an image with a light blue disappearing ink. Once I'm satisfied with the image I mark with fabric in in black over the blue lines.

Now is when the mind starts to create something that reflects my "Muse" or my creative spirit.

I will post here as i continue with this project.

Join in the mug rug swap if you like, it will be fun. Your image can be anything as long as it reflects your personality.

    this will be raw appliqued.
