Using the completed block to cut next block is a genius idea!! This would make it very easy to customize the size to what you wanted it to be.

I'm kinda confused. How would you cut the x after sewing all around? I mean do you draw a line and use scissors and cut just the one layer very straight on the lines :?:

I guess I need the answer to how to do this:


The only thing different is she would cut the "x" after sewing all around the fabric.
