In my first tute on the still life floral, we covered the basics of making the flowers and putting it altogether. On this second part of the tute, we will focus on the flower arranging aspect. We will show how to change this mini into a more dramatic and formal arrangement using the same fdn. piece, same vase but fewer of the same flowers. We are going to use the same vase because of the peace it brings to the still life.
Any time you have lots of prints together in a quilt , it helps to add either a plaid or stripe. This calms the senses and gives the eye a place to rest from all the mumbo-jumbo of the prints. Can you see how the plaid works so well here?
