I have done these a few times too...it is such fun, and mindless sewing (kinda) for those times when you just wanta sew and not have to worry much about what you are doing

That is great! This is so easy and will make great use of my scraps for doll quilts, etc. I especially like that you can vary the design so easily. Thanks so very much.

Thank you so much for the ideas, i think whenever I have the urge to sew but not much time or dont want to have to concentrate too hard I will look through my scrap box and sew a few strips together, things will almost make themselves!! lol Eileen
