This quilt technique is just so fun that I can't help comment whenever someone posts something! <wave>
I love this technique, too, and love to see everyone's pictures.

Finally have the long strip prepped, seams trimmed, ironed, have decided on 62" - this should give me a 62" x 80" top before borders; I have about 15 min a day to quilt, so will get to point of posting the top gradually. Will keep you posted.

I made this a couple weeks ago before I saw this tutorial because of the attached youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EomX7t7to_o
I'm doing this with our group of "Easy Strippers" but they have no idea what we are doing... they are to come to retreat with their 40 strips sewn together on the 45% angle and they know nothing else.. it will be a race.. I actually sewed mine together using my serger.., after having the 1600 strip together it took 42 minutes to get it together without borders. Then I will tell them that if they do not have their caring quilt done for our guild it is now done.. I'll be quilting big flowers on my quilt...
it will be fun!!!
