Thread: Super super easy tissue holder

    You can make these in 5 minutes, or less if you chain piece. Great way to use up your scraps.

    cut main fabric 6 1/2 x 5 1/2, lining 7 1/2 x 5 1/2

    you need two pieces of fabric, one main piece and one for the lining

    sew 1/4 inch seam along both ends of the 5 1/2 sides, right sides together

    turn right sides out and press so that your lining fabric shows evenly on both sides of your main fabric

    bring both sides to the center and press

    sew across the ends using 1/4" seam

    then zig zag stitch across the same ends

    Turn the tissue holder right side out, use a point turner to poke the corners neatly

    Thanks for a great tutoral! Super easy & super cute. I just finished making shopping totes for my girls & I'll put a matching tissue holder in a pocket for each one.

    I love this!
    I have some vintage linens w/ embroidery that would look pretty. the little case would also work as a sachet cover...maybe add a loop and button for finish. thanks so much for sharing-

    Thanks so very much for your tutorial! On Tuesday afternoons, I have been teaching my 11 year old grand daughter and her friend to sew Christmas gifts. These tissue holders will be perfect for next week! They will be able to finish several in the sewing session. My granddaughter always needs lots of tissues the day of her allergy shots so she will enjoy having one of these tissue holders for herself. Thanks a million!
