These would make cute gifts if you have a lot to make for a quilt group or other for that matter. Great use for scraps.

cut main fabric 6 1/2 x 5 1/2, lining 7 1/2 x 5 1/2

you need two pieces of fabric, one main piece and one for the lining

sew 1/4 inch seam along both ends of the 5 1/2 sides, right sides together

turn right sides out and press so that your lining fabric shows evenly on both sides of your main fabric

bring both sides to the center and press

sew across the ends using 1/4" seam

then zig zag stitch across the same ends

Turn the tissue holder right side out, use a point turner to poke the corners neatly

Thanks for the tutorial. I have made these before and they are SUPER. I like to box the corners (like the bottom corners of a totebag)

I made 35 of these for church and even though I was a bit leery of some of the scraps I used they all turned out great and everyone loved them and thought I spent a lot of time on them. I told them that I did not give cards out this year because I wanted to do something they could enjoy all year long.
