Some folks have been asking about the strip pieced method to do this block. With some help from my favorite feline, this is what I came up with.

This is just a test to make sure font is not too small.

For this tutorial, all strips were cut 2" wide

The basic sequence for the rest of the block stays the same.
* Add sides, press and square
* Add top and bottom, press and square
* Mark centers on each edge
* Cut in preparation for next layer
