Default good /bad $ weekend

no idea what I have yet. put it out to get rid of some of the musty smell. went thru a little town I lived in and discovered a junk shop that was open. I found a box of boxes of sewing machine accessories. two motors and three machines. this is some of them.
when I get home tonight I can dig thru and see what have.

Nice. I love this stuff but haven't come across much of it lately.

I call those kind of boxes "Goody Boxes". I bought one last week and spent a few hours sorting bits and pieces and placing them in plastic baggies for further identification. One of the finds was a presser foot that will replace the grungy presser foot on my Davis Vertical Feed and also some attachments for it.

Love it! I really enjoy goodies bags but I don't find much here either. The local GW never seems to have any attachments. I secretly think an employee gets them all before they hit the floor.

they are always fun to identify - I can see some New Home and White, along with the Singer stuff. ONe metal box has the "generic" set and one of the cardboard boxes is most likely Free or National - so you do have a wide range there.

The truley fun part is if there is one of the rarer attachments that don't normally come with a "set" included. And it's also fun to figure out what doesn't even go with sewing machines LOL!!

I'm jealous. I never luck out like that. What a find though.

Yes, I have wondered the same thing. Next time I visit my local GW, I will ask the manager where all of the attachment go.
