Default Improving the Feather Weight Case

I take my FW to quilting sew-ins and she was getting bumped around in her case and sometimes I would bump the side of the case when removing her or putting her back in, so I decided to improve the case, but it had to be really cute to match the FW.... and cheap and easy to do.

You can read about it here and see the photos

Thank you, me too. LOL In Kricket's case because she is a black FW, I will paint and stencil it. It is going to look very different. I already have the design and colors in my vision.

Now that is one I would love to see!! I don't have my white FW anymore but do have couple black ones but doesn't need help BUT I do have a spare case that's screaming for makeover! Lol
Or are you referring to doing the machine over? Please show us when done.

I just got through cleaning her up and hubby is giving her a new foot controller and updating the plug, her decals are still in great shape so I will leave her Au Natural... I am going to strip the case and see if the wood is salvageable. I will sand and then paint the case inside and out. Then I will stencil or decoupage the outside. I luv the look here. ( link below) I would not do this to a case in good shape but some like mine are trashed and NEED a make over.

I am too much of an artist to be a purist when it comes to things like this. I love color in my life. so I will go funky chic with my little black case. LOL I will be blogging about it so check there as I do not post here often.
