Default $150 Featherweight Olympia area

No affiliation with the seller, just passing on a good price.

Easy for me. I don't have the money and I would prefer a larger machine like a 301 or an aluminum 99 (or clone) anyway. Featherweights are cute but too small IMO.

Two in the space of one day--maybe FWs' are starting to get back down to a reasonable price. I guess now that all us QB people have bought them up, the sellers realize it, and with wanting to sell a sewing machine, they are dropping their prices. I, for one, am still watching, and when the price gets right, I am there with the folded money in my fat little hands.

I saw one for $180 recently, but I don't know enough about the Featherweights. It's a 221-1 and the leather handle looks like it's rotted, but otherwise looks good. Hard to tell much from CL photos. When I'm ready to take the plunge, is there a difference among Featherweights or are they all good?

They're all the same except the white ones have drive belts inside instead of gears. The other minor differences like the different face plates and different styles of cases are indicative of age.
