Sewing machine!!
Watching Discovery Channel a program called 'Stephen Fry's 100 Greatest Gadgets' and he lists #18 as a Singer sewing machine, even did a demo!

Personally, I know we will all know better, its # 1.

I saw that special and it was so interesting! I wish I had recorded it. And I definitely agree that the sewing machine should have been in the top 10!

Agree. Sewing Machines are in the top 10 if not #1. Where would I be without them?? Bored out of my mind that's where.
