quiltlady1941,

I just remembered this thread: { http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...n-t252413.html }.
NovaMontgomery has a lube she says is the same or nearly so as the originala Singer Motor lube. I haven't tried it yet but intend to do so.

I have a tube of the Singer Lubricant. It was with the attachments that came with my 401. DH also has small motor lubricant in his tool box. Looks just like the lube I have.

I take a q-tip and stick it up the lubricant well there are 2 of them on a 15-91. If it is full it oozes out, if not or the q-tip is not covered with lube then I add Vaseline. I notice that if I do a lot of FMQ I go through more lube
