I saw one of these at a flea market last month, priced at $60 but seller offered to go to $45. I wasn't sure what it was and passed on it, don't know if it worked or not. I came home and did research, found out it was an upgrade to the 99 and very similar. I have a 99 but am regretting passing this one up.

I have a 185 also, but due to its weight, it sits in its case in the corner of my sewing room, most of the time. I always intend to give it more use, but when it comes time to pack up and go, I always grab a FW or a 301.

The green color is so cool, and it does sew nicely.

Have one here, although it is on the list to get cleaned up and fixed, wait, might have two. Haven't sewn on them so might enjoy them. I do know they are definitely heavy little brutes. I think maybe the J and the K refer to where they were manufactured. That is they way it is for my 301A.

He sold one of these advertised as such. I sure hope the buyer isn't disappointed when she sees it.
Definitely NOT a featherweight! I have two FW's .....no comparison as far as weight is concerned!!
