Default 2 FWs for Sale, White and Black

There are 2 FWs for sale on the SewItsForSale site. The white one is $385 including shipping in US...that's a pretty good price. The other FS is a black one. Just letting everyone know...

Something's fishy with that listing for the white Featherweight; the serial number doesn't make sense, and the owner claims it's from 1947. The white Featherweights were made in the 1960s.

$385 doesn't sound good to me! The prices of featherweights have come down.

Hi, sewbizgirl, good to see you again! I was thinking $385 for a WHITE one wasn't too bad. Have you found any good machines lately?

$385 isn't bad. The white ones (actually "celery") sell for more than the black ones.

I don't follow FWs too much, mainly because I think they are too expensive to collect. For my pocketbook anyway. I have one, and every time I use it I love it and think it is so cute. But when it is put away in it's case and it's out of site I do think the pricetag is outrageous. So I am glad to hear the price is coming down for them. : )

I just did a quick search on ebay, and 2 FWs with 40 minutes to go each were at $167. Of course bidding may go up at the last minute, but I do find it interesting that they are nowhere near the 300-350 mark.
