I've pretty much blown every deadline involved with this quilt. Overall though I'm pleased with the progress and how it's looking. It will get done.

Miriam, I believe that is to be expected! I know I had a period of time when I got really tired after my back surgery -- which is nothing compared to Ashlea's problem. It's going to take time to get her strength and endurance built up -- I am so happy she's doing so well. She'll continue to be in my prayers!

Speaking from experience when you go through something like Ashlea has EVERYTHING is cause for concern for a while. The fact that Ashlea is working again and has seen that she can still do it has to be a tremendous boost to her.
I'm almost 1/2 way done with hand sewing the binding (I'm slow). I'll take plenty of pictures when I'm done but I'm not posting them until Ashlea receives the quilt. There has to be some surprises.
Right now I plan to ship it out on Saturday.
