Default Adler Belvedere 430 sewing machine - has anyone used or have this machine,

I can't find out much about the Adler Belvedere 430 sewing machine. There is one in the neighborhood thrift store for $30, is it worth it? I've only seen one other at a Good Will nearby, but it was in someones cart.

    Any comments would be appreciated.
    Thank you

I have a 2 tone Adler, possibly a Belvedere, that I bought for $5. Long story short - Nash stitches and makes 1 or 2 zz stitches but not all his cool ones he was once capable of as the cam stack or something else is toast. He sews very nicely and is great at darning hubby's work jeans so I've kept him. I call him Nash because he's a 2-tone green.

I think I'll pass on this one. I have enough machines with one hard to fix piece sitting in the back room. Thanks much for the input

I thought they only made typewriters - Adler was my favourite 45+ years ago!
