Talking Ahhhh! I have to tell SOMEONE who might understand!

I just found this one my door step and my heart almost stopped!

my friends are all joking behind my back about my vintage sewing machine enthusiasm, so I can't explain how exciting this is to me. I am limited by funds to a max of $25 or less for sewing machine purchases. I found a Singer 301a for that price that I was able to revive, and my Morse Fotomatic IV is a work in progress. But I have only dreamed about the cuteness of a featherweight.
I had been warned that if I revealed my interest people might start dropping off their unwanted puppies. So when a friend said she would someday bring me her mother's old black singer, I had visions of a 15-91 or maybe a 66. I told her I would be glad to clean and revive it formher, but can't take a family heirloom. And this is what she left me! Now she won't take it back!
Just had to tell someone who might understand😊

How WONDERFUL!!!
She knew that she was bringing it to someone who would love it and take care of it and appreciate it like her mother did!! Kudos to your friend and congratulations to you!!

I don't collect the old machines since I have no interest in restoring them. This one, however, looks fantastic.

What a wonderful gift! You're so lucky both in the friend and sewing machine departments.

What a wonderful friend you have, and since she won't take the machine back, I would make her something really special.
