Default More info on my 306w

Just heard back from Singerco today, and unfortunately my 306w is a "W" serial number... the missing years. The only info they could Give is that is was a Bridgeport Cn. machine and they started using "W" in the serial numbers begining 1910. Also they mentioned that the book " Blue Book of Singer Sewing machines " listed the 306w being made in 1953 and 1954.

I guess that is as much as I will ever know.
here is a closer picture of it the flash kind of "Glazed" the wax but it looks pretty ok.

I did manage to get the first 10 "cams" for it and have been playing around with fancy stiches...its kind of fun.

We have three machines that use the Singer flat cams. 319K, 338K, 538. So far we've gotten most of them well into the 20s. Lots of decorative stitches for those.
