Default Amazing Domestic Repaint

The machine is gorgeous with Rustoleum hammered metal finish and custom decals. I used this pain once on some old outdoor furniture and was impressed, but this is amazing.

Beautiful and I think anybody could do that too. Maybe I will next summer. Have one that really looks crappy.

That is very neat. We've now got two 301's that are good repaint candidates. I've also got an air brush, so may try getting creative and see how that turns out.

I've got several in the shed I can practice on too.

Been waiting for the right initiative to rehab a black oxidized 301a. This just might do it. However, I'm going to look into rehabbing to original as possible. If it doesn't come out OK, the hammered look will be used as a rescue. Thanks!

Not bad, not bad at all. At first I didn't like the gold color, but once finished it's really nice looking.

Joe, Once I get past the sacrosanct color of anything but black, I really like this idea.

Wonderful! That is something I can do. I have several candidates. I subscribed to the blog as I want to see the decal process.

Joe and Vridar, I am right there with you!!!! Initial reaction was ewwwww, but it really came together in the end. I just may have to try this with a newer machine.

I also was a bit iffy on the use of anything but black, but it grew on me as I read the blog. Bronze seems OK, but don't think I could like hot pink. I love old painted furniture, but couldn't be the first one to paint over salvageable wood. The decal work was amazing.
