Default Cleaning a Singer 328K

Hello, I recently acquired my Grama's old singer sewing machine from my Mom, it's a 328K and I'm wondering how I can clean up the outside of it, it appears to have some grease stains on the body, it runs well considering it hasn't been used for a few years. I took a couple of pictures of it, I will post them when I figure out how to post them.

Hi Gwen,
Sewing machine oil will rid you of those stains without damaging the enamel.

I agree, use sewing machine oil to clean the outside. I'm sure other people will chime in with good ideas, also. The 328 is a nice machine. I had one, but gave it to an Aunt whose plastic wonder stopped working and wasn't worth fixing. She loves the machine! Good luck with yours!

Thank-you for your help, I will give that a try. I still haven't found the little icon for posting pictures.

Gwen, the icon is the picture of the tree; at the bottom of the screen.

Here's where to find the "tree" icon:

For some reason there is not a single icon showing up on my screen. I thought maybe it was because I'm using Google Chrome, but I even logged in on Internet Explorer and still nothing. Strange, cause I know I've used it before when I've posted something.

do you have your screen fairly large? it might be the top is just off off your monitor, there may be "scroll bars" on the edge of the window that will allow you to get it in the picture.

Gwen,

You need to go into the settings and select the icons. I had to do that with my account too.
