No, but they do both sew. (I like making shirts.) So far I've only quilted on my Singer 15-91, the first machine I bought in 1974.

I have a 15-91; it's a good quilter. Plus all the other stuff it can do. Who needs a stinkin' zigzagger. Not me. I'm happy living in the past... I wish we were still in the 60's.

brandeesmom, Menalto,

Those are some sweet looking machines. Joey likie.

I'm hoping that when I do get it it's as complete as I've been told. That helps a lot.

Just spotted this one in the Boston area. If I had more room, lived a little closer, etc. (if, if, if...) I'd be tempted.

Singer coffin tops, could be a 12, more likely a VS2 (27) but could be a VS1 or a IF or early 15.

I've seen both fiddle base and rectangular base machines in coffin tops - here's hoping it's a nice fiddle base for you!

And then you'll most likely have a machine that your Singer puzzle box was meant for!

Manalto - now i have cabinet envy! Love that New Home. I've got a similar machine, but in a much more basic cabinet (is also a coffin top though).

And if I found something like that, then I'd need to decide which other cabinet gets relegated to storage, so it's better if I don't find one!

Still, I'd really like to get a full sided, open middle style treadle cabinet, though I'd prefer the Singer version just because most of my cabinets are Singers.
